Yacht decks – Teak decking
Teak is the perfect timber for use in the marine industry. It is hard wearing and its natural oils repel water, which also means that it does not have to be treated.
Our traditionaly cut swept teak decks show this beutifully grained timber in all its glory, weather oiled or left to go silver.
All of our decks are cut into the king-plank and margin boards and are finished with black caulking. This not only seals it, but also produces a good non sllip surface.
Combine this with re-varnished bright work and re-chromed or polished fittings, and your decks will be the envy of other boat owners for years to come. For some examples of decks we have laid, please see the completed restoration projects pages.
